In my youth I used art as a means of creating realistic beauty or to relieve boredom in school. Later, it became cathartic. I would stay up late drawing intricate pieces that evolved from simple doodles. It was mindless, having given over the task to the subconscious. This is the series, Inner Worlds. Now, I want to speak to the universal. Previously, my art followed my individual journey. Now, I am ready to follow the journey of the era in which I am embedded. I grew up in a relatively safe and secure environment. I counted on God, my country, and the integrity of others. These are not calming times, and the road we choose now will mark the worlds.
