Photography is an adventure of discovery. The camera helps me see things I might otherwise ignore: the “other worlds” held in a droplet, reflections swirling above a waterfall, the excitement shown in the posture of children as ocean waves crash on their feet.
Inspired by the Saori philosophy of weave from your heart, my work can be quiet and controlled to quite energetic and carefree. Just depends on the day! Woven scarves, runners, clothing, pillows and wall hangings reflect a joy in experimenting with color and texture that often results in unexpected design elements!
