As an artist, via mediums of photography, clay and animal fiber, my work focuses on the small details often overlooked by others. I strive to elicit in others an appreciation for the less obvious and to encourage others to take a closer look at the natural world and the wonder of animal life that surrounds us every day.

Suzanne Klumb

Based in Faribault, I am a versatile creative and the proud owner of Brigg Evans Design. My artistic journey spans more than five decades as a textile designer, a path that has deeply shaped both my vision and my voice.

My work begins with original Serti Batiks—each piece a creation of line, texture, color, and the organic beauty created through wax resist and dye. These foundational textiles evolve into thoughtfully designed collections for quilting, slow stitching, and wall artistry.

My work is a reflection of a constant search for new forms and challenges. I am inspired by the limitless possibilities that clay offers, pushing the boundaries of traditional techniques to discover innovative shapes and structures. Each piece is a testament to my journey, a fusion of creativity and technical skill, inviting others to share in the wonder and excitement of pottery.

My inspiration is nature, Whenever you take a moment to look, there’s never-ending beauty. Flowers, birds, woodlands. My passion is re-creating nature through quilting, I’m truly taken by the process of transforming fabric into my vision. Mostly true to life, sometimes whimsical.
