I am a silversmith of over 15 years. My natural stone, freeform designs are created with compliments to the wearer in mind. Someone once described my art as “Feral” which I think about sums it up. I love playing with unusual stone types and shapes to create an unexpected piece of wearable art. Every piece is one of a kind and can be customized to the wearers needs. My studio is located in my Fleur De Lis Gallery on central Ave in Downtown Faribault.

I make functional and sculptural pottery as well as decorative clay objects. Texture, shape and color all tell a story. I hope my work will be interesting to look at, but also to touch and hold. Whether a mug for daily use or a piece meant to be strictly decorative, I hope to have each piece draw a person’s attention and bring them joy.

I am a local artist from Faribault, Minnesota, specializing in the art of stained glass. Inspired by the beauty of traditional and antique stained glass, I strive to infuse each of my creations with a modern twist, blending the time-honored craftsmanship with contemporary design.

Although I live in a metropolitan area, my heart belongs to the countryside. Having grown up in rural Wisconsin, I find beauty and comfort in tranquil farm scenes and country landscapes.

But when restlessness hijacks me (as it often does), I wind up in places like mountains, deserts or the oceanside. 

So, whether it’s the Midwest or a far-flung outpost, it’s nature that calls my name. Through painting, I try to share images that will evoke in others what it does in me — awe, peace, a connection to something larger than myself. And, because humor is among my favorite things, maybe a smile or even a chuckle.
