Photography is an adventure of discovery. The camera helps me see the world differently. I enjoy playing with long exposures and combining multiple exposures to create images that are more expressive than representational. I transform the images I created in the camera into prints, greeting cards, unique boxes, artist books and sculptures.
Inspired by the Saori philosophy of weave from your heart, my work can be quiet and controlled to quite energetic and carefree. Just depends on the day! Woven scarves, runners, clothing, pillows and wall hangings reflect a joy in experimenting with color and texture that often results in unexpected design elements!
