Amy Ahrens

Amy Ahrens is a Minnesota-based classically trained painter working in oil, watercolor and mixed media, and accepts commissions. While oil is her primary medium, she is an avid sketchbook keeper in watercolor. She believes being an artist means paying attention in ways most people do not, and telling about it through your own vision and voice. Lately her work as evolved to include florals and landscapes and figure in landscape inspired by those watercolor sketches reinterpreted in oil on canvas. You can find her work at Tolle Fine Art Gallery in Northfield, MN.
