Whether searching the yard waste site in Northfield, using donated woods, or harvesting neighborhood wood damaged by storm or disease, I have the honor to reveal the warmth and beauty in wood often destined to be firewood. I use natural food-safe finishes, including vegan-friendly options where possible. While fishing and playing folk and traditional Celtic music cut into my shop time, the piles of mistakes I make in my shop time can easily heat my shop most of the winter.
