Joel Froehle

 As a ceramic artist, I have a deep affection for clay, its history, and all its possibilities. My handmade functional pots are crafted with care and consideration. The surface imagery and patterns are abstractions derived loosely from forms seen in nature. I hope that my pots function as well in the hand as they do on the shelf.
